For Strawberry Basil Spritzer:
Stir water and jam together in a small to medium sauce pan. Stir over medium low heat until mixture bubbles. Continue stirring and cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool 5-6 minutes. Pour through fine mesh strainer into bottle or jar, removing solid fruit pieces as needed. Cool completely.
In an old fashioned glass, combine simple syrup and vodka. Top with ice and a splash of club soda to taste. Garnish with strawberry and sprig of basil. Enjoy!
