Check out our new Valentine's Day cocktail (we mean jamtail) recipe! Start with a homemade simple syrup made with Raven's Nest Raspberry Jalapeño Jam, then shake with vodka, lime juice, and a splash of grenadine (for that lovely red color). Sweet with just a touch of heat, this is the perfect "love potion" cocktail to share with your sweetheart this V-day!
How do you make simple syrup for cocktails with jam? It's easy! Just add 1 cup of jam and 1/2 cup of water to a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk it up until thickened, pour through a fine mesh sieve, and you'll have yourself a jar of versatile simple syrup that can be used to mix up this refreshing cocktail, drizzle on ice cream, or add to your iced tea or lemonade - you name it. The creative possibilities are endless!
This recipe features our best-selling jam - Raspberry Jalapeño! The perfect blend of raspberries with the subtle heat of jalapeños, this jam also pairs beautifully with cheese and crackers. Or serve over a block of cream cheese as an appetizer, blend with cream cheese for a spirited fruit dip, or heat to make a glaze on grilled salmon or a marinade for pork tenderloin.
We hope you LOVE it. Cheers...and Happy Valentine's Day!
