Founded in 1980, Raven’s Nest is a second-generation, woman-owned family business specializing in small-batch gourmet jams, fruit salsas, and signature mulling spices. Born in Alabama and raised in the Carolinas, our timeless recipes are deeply rooted in authentic Southern hospitality and clean, simple ingredients.


A True Labor of Love, Raven’s Nest began over four decades ago with a simple vision from our founder, Raven, to bring people together over exceptional, handcrafted flavors. What started in a family kitchen has steadily grown into a trusted national gourmet brand.

When Raven was ready to retire, her daughter Monica Smith stepped in to purchase the business. Having grown up in the company, Monica considered taking the helm a true labor of love, a natural step to carry on the legacy her parents meticulously built. Today, as President and Owner, Monica remains actively involved in every detail, from production and packaging to the personal relationships we build with our customers.

Under Monica’s leadership, Raven’s Nest has successfully modernized its brand with clean packaging and a growing e-commerce presence, all while maintaining the heart of a small family business.

Monica is a fierce advocate for the small business community. Having spent over three decades selling directly to consumers at retail shows and building connections at major wholesale markets, she knows that retail is about relationships, not just stocking shelves. We prioritize partnerships with local shops, specialty retailers, gourmet markets, wineries, and boutiques that share our commitment to quality and personal customer experiences. These meaningful connections are the foundation of our business, and the reason we have proudly partnered with many of our wholesale retailers for over 30 years.
