Chili Grande Roasted Chickpeas
A quick, protein-packed snack with bold, smoky flavors in every bite!
If you can resist eating them all immediately, these little poppers make a fantastic crunchy topping for salads and soups.
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp (divided in two) Raven's Nest Chili Grande spice blend
- PREHEAT the oven to 400 and place a sheet of parchment on a rimmed cookie sheet.
- PREP: Drain, rinse, and pour the chickpeas on the cookie sheet. Pat the chickpeas with a paper towel until dry.
- SPICE IT UP: Drizzle chickpeas with olive oil, and sprinkle on salt, and 1/2 Tbsp of the Chili Grande mix. Toss well.
- BAKE: for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes for even crispiness.
- FINISH: Remove the chickpeas from the oven and toss them with the remaining 1/2 Tbsp of Chili Grande Mix.
- ENJOY: Serve warm or store in an airtight container for snacking later!
