Instructions
1. Make the Maple Apple Butter Syrup
Combine the Raven’s Nest Apple Butter, water, maple syrup, Mulling Spices, and optional salt in a small saucepan.
Warm over medium-low heat for 3–5 minutes, whisking until completely smooth. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
Remove from heat and let cool. If your mulling spices are coarse, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer.
Transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate for up to one week. Stir or shake before using.
2. Prepare the Cinnamon-Mulling Spice Rim
On a small plate, mix the sugar, ground cinnamon, Raven’s Nest Mulling Spices, and optional salt.
Run a lime or orange wedge around half the rim of your glass, then dip it into the spice mixture to coat.
3. Shake the Margarita
Add the reposado tequila, Cointreau, maple apple-butter syrup, lime juice, orange juice, and optional salt to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled.
4. Strain & Serve
Fill your prepared rocks glass with fresh ice.
Double-strain the cocktail into the glass for a smooth finish.
5. Garnish & Enjoy
Garnish with an orange slice, thin apple slice, or cinnamon stick.
Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing, spice-filled taste of autumn!
