Sweet + Heat BBQ Sauce

1 cup ketchup
1 cup jam of choice (we tried
Hot Peach
and
Blackberry Jalapeño
)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 T water
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until sauce is thickened and smooth, approximately 5 minutes.
Use sauce immediately, or allow to cool and then store in an air-tight jar in the refrigerator.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week or 6 months in the freezer.
